Not auto downloading email - Motorola Q Forum

I have had my Q for a couple months now, and have had NO problem downloading email off 4 different accounts through POP and IMAP. I just installed Facade, and now it will not auto dowload my emails. I have sent sevaral test emails, and they are sending and if i manually send recieve they will download, but nothing automatically. Not sure if when configuring the facade i changed something, or how or where it might be. i rebooted the Q multiple times, changed the auto download time with no result.

any ideas what i might have done, or where i could look for a fix?

this is going to sound strange, but this is the workaround that I got from the SBSH forums (already posted it before BTW)
First, change the home screen back to one of the defaults (non-facade) Reboot the phone (using the power key).
After the phone is powered up again change back to the facade screen. Once again, reboot the phone. That should get it working again.

I was wondering why my emails weren't downloading from my work account.
I guess I am safe because my company is so small we use pop3 so it is not "corporate"

I haven't checked to see if there was a new version of facade that fixes this problem yet. It seems to only affect the Q9
