Smile Norton and Moving email to Card

Hello everyone. This forum is awesome. I've viewed it for over a year now as I had the original Q Black and loved it, so when the Q9C came out I figured I couldn't go wrong.

I have Verizon (not sure if that matters to be honest for this, but it might) and have a couple of issues that are absoultely driving me crazy.

1) I did the registry edit to move email to my card to save space. It worked and my email saves to the new locale, but I can't see any emails or texts I have moved to the new location, I can only see messages resulting from usage after the folders were created. The files are definitely on the storage card & are >0 in size. Any ideas??

(2) Had Norton Smartphone Secuirty for my other Q so I was planning on a simple transfer. This install worked very smoothly on my Q Black. Not so much on my new Q.

When I install, and the error log shows a couple of problems with REgOpenKey and updating a valued and the like. Then when I got to register I keep getting server down errors for an OpenBit licensing server update and also when I try to register (probably thru Openbit as well) with my purchased license. I've been gettign the same errors for over a week (or two, I've lost count) so I really don't think it's truly a server issue....maybe permissions, maybe registry?? I have reserached online and I can't find anything specific to this product on the Q9C. Anybody else have this issue? Any fixes?

Just as a side note: I have contacted Norton who offered a full refund, but no fix. Also contacted Verizon support who sent me to Motorola support and Motorola support who I just don't think knew what to tell me. All of the sw specs indicate the Norton should work on my phone so does anyone know what I might be missing? I would really rather get the app working than return it, especially since my phone hooks up to my corp network and my work PC.

I have tried a few reg edits to "unlock" my phone, but can't find anything that is locked....and I can download and run apps even if they aren't signed.

These are my only 2 grumps, everything else seems to be running well as far as I can tell for now.

Any help would be greatly appreaciated. My apologies for any typos.

Thanks again for any help.
