Default New Q user needs icon help

I'm on my second MotoQ 9c and use Sprite Backup to restore my applications and contacts running from the backup Exe file on my SD card.

The past few days I've noticed that a number of my program icons and folder icons in the Start menu have changed to generic document type icons. Originally it was just one, then two, and now it's like 6 or more all have the same brown/tan icon.

How do I restore the lost original icons? Everything else is working for now.... Knock on wood.

Thanks
Roy in KC

are the programs still installed?
can they run?

if so then just create new shortcuts from the exe files of the programs

Default Still work

Yes the applications/folders are there and they will run. I'll see if I can figure out how to create shortcuts of the exe files and get them into the start window.

Thanks

Ahh Haaa. It's not the applications that have lost their Icons it's The folders that have a collection of apps like "customize my Q" and "Accessories" and "Games" that all have generic folder icons now.

Any way to change those?

Thanks

Default Found or at least fixed the problem

Thanks to this board I found a solution to the problem. Not sure what started it but I did a "hard reset" and then went back to an earlier backup prior to having installed some apps. I installed SK Tools and doing a cleanup must have deleted the system folder icons.

Had to reinstall a few apps but all is fine now. Looks factory fresh and I owe the friendly people on this board for fixing it.

Thanks to all who responded to my plea for help as well.

Cheers
