 |  Need help deciding on a phone! So good news! I followed the advice on here and emailed sprints ecare and they are sending me a new moto q9c tomorrow! but im really REALLY leaning towards the HTC Touch guys! Ive had the moto q for a year, its awesome, its a way of life for me basically, but the new Q doesnt have as many features as I was hoping for and That damn touch-flo screen on the HTC seems so sweet! Anybody have personal experience with both phones? Can you mod and hack the "touch" (i havent researched it that much yet)? Add third party apps like we do to the q? Am i gonna be able to play pocketnes with the touch!! Im worRied Ill get bored wIth the "touch" if I cant mod and improve it constantly, cuz with my q, its like having a New phone all the time by adding programs that I find! Please advise guys! |

| hmm.. i played around with the touch but never really look much into it because non existant keyboard. I had trouble when I tried to use my Mogul touchscreen to type, no matter what keyboard program I used, so having to use touchscreen for everything.. No Thanks. Im pretty sure you can mod and add 3rd party software like everyother PPC nowadays. I know they have game emulators for PPCs but i dont know how it will work on a Touch.. no keyboard. I never installed one on my Mogul cuz I thought the layout would awful |

It was an ACCIDENT That message wasnt helpful or necessary at all.Honestly, I think your taking things a "little" too seriously, when you chastise someone looking for help. I was in the middle of updating my email address and my profile and it wouldnt let me log in to the system for some reason. So in the process of sorting it out (had 6 tabs open in my Opera mobile browser), I inadvertantly sent the message to the wrong forum and more than once. Quote:

| Thanks for the advice and everyone seems to agree with you Evryone seems to think that lack of a dedicated keyboard is the biggest downfall, I hadnt really considered it I guess. I will have to go play with one at a sprint store to be sure if it will bother me. To me, I dont think it will matter if Im typing on a screen or typing on a series of buttons. It does have 3 different types of touch keyboards for different applications which I thought was a cool way of helping to ease the transition for people. I really just want to make sure I can hack it and get into the registry and heart of the phone, because I really enjoy being able to control every aspect of my q. thanks again Quote:
