| Multiple Non-Ie Browser Test - Trip Report Tested- Had not too great of results
Opera Mobile 8.65- This is my primary browser. It seems to be super slow to launch lately, and I am debating installing on my phone and not the sd card. But it displays the page on the screen pretty much full, with a good zoom, back button goes back, easily manageable bookmarks and can easily import your ie ones. Customize the homepage, lets you do a lot, doesn't launch as fast as pie, but it is well worth it to make it your default browser just for the fact that you can access more pages with opera mobile.
Opera Mobile 9.5 beta- didn't even run on my phone....my the application its self is relatively large at like 8mb or so to even run, uninstalled, gunna search for a better version to test
Iris 1.09 newer version updated May 08, 2008 beta- Worked well but very buggy, using the back button on the q9c like closed the browser, so you have to go to the menu to go back. Entering in a url was painstaking. And the zoom was messed up, I mean you have mouse scroll and click (really cool), but like you cannot see like the whole page and always have to fricken scroll around, and it is a pain to do. So not so cool. Really cool that it had a traffic used monitor, kinda cool to see how many kb i go through just browsing. Uninstalled....
Netfront 3.5 Early Preview- The browser its self I got to run, but it wouldn't display anything. Tinkered around for a bit, but couldn't figure anything out, even if it did work it expires on like May 28th or something. Uninstalled...
Skyfire- Not Tested
Teashark - for being a java based browser I really like this browser. It is kind of a pain sometimes trying to get exactly on a button to click on, and the images don't always display correctly, but I am keeping it for now.
Any other ones I haven't tested?

| Do i need java emulation for teashark to work? is it like opera-mini? then it isn't even worth the time imho
But none the less I haven't test it out, so I will do it tonight at work. I would make the perfect beta tester, I have plenty of free time to piss around with stuff. |
