 |  Missing Icons Ok here's the deal. I believe Iinstalled the wm6 transformation square icons and some of them looked weird or not right, so I uninstalled the app (through active sync). After everything looked good and ran better, but after a little while, I noticed that I am missing a bunch of links. From what i can remember after looking through, I am missing the following links: IE Messaging Pictures and Video Note: I am only missing the Icons, i can get to them in round about ways, but thats garbage. Luckily I had a bookmark saved for the video sites forthe flash video bundle TCPMP, otherwise I would have no way to access IE. also the only way I can get into the email is if I get a new email sent to me. Is there a way to recreate these shortcuts or restore them? I reallllly don't want to do a master reset, since it's only shortcuts that are missing. |

 | go to \windows and find the exe files for them and recreate the shortcuts

| Ideas Maybe I had a similar issue with system icons that changed to generic icons probably when I ran SK tools registry cleaner and didn't pay attention to what it did. Had to do a hard reset to get the original Windows Mobile installed but that meant reinstalling all my other apps, contacts, etc. Now I make regular backups with Sprite Backup both to my work PC and to my SD card. By doing that I can do a hard reset away from work and recover to the night before since I backup at 2 AM "every day". Hope this helps. Roy in KC |

| My BaD.   Got it confused with the other version of "soft reset".... Exactly... Even if I use the center button to do a Master Reset I follow it up with on in the "system tools" folder. Thanks Roy in KC |

| ok did master reset and active sync wont recognize my phone again( like when I bought it). what can I do to get it to work? before it was luck and just happened after 30 some odd times.... This is starting to suck |
