Question how do I copy a home screen file?

I've downloaded some home screens to my PC but I am having trouble copying them to my Sprint Q9C, how do I copy it over? thanks

active sync...

if they are in ZIP files then you have to fully extract them to the PC before moving them over

then copy and paste

if they are CAB files then just copy and paste and DO NOT EXTRACT

why would you paste the files on the phone if there were already there?

listen...
just unzip the xml and jpg files from the to the desktop
right click on the files
copy
attach the Q to the pc with active sync
explore the phone
navigate to 'application data\home'
right click in the folder to paste the xml and jpg files
close that out

start
settings
homescreen settings and pick the name of the screen you just copied
game over

I really do apologize here, I am a very newbie as you can see, I tried to follow what I read and searched for and it gets very frustrating when things don't go well, I never copy and paste anything so I had no idea what to do, when I went to the phone device to see what and where the files were suppose to be, obviously I saw nothing but now I know what to do because of your tremendous help here, so I really do appreciate all of your help, I am learning new things about the Q9C phone everyday, so THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP AGAIN
