GPS not working for Midwest Qusers

Called motorola yesterday, who advised me to do teh 6.1 update to fix teh GPS problem. Did the update, and that's a whole other topic.

But, reinstalled GMM and the gps STILL doesn't work.

Trying Windows Live, and the update I ran seems to have taken out the My Location type feature.

My phone still doesn't have gps capability and that is very frustrating.

was hoping you was going to come back and update us.
as for updating to 6.1 that shouldn't have mattered. looks like you'll have to take it to the store, send it to motorola if you've had it for under a year and have insurance.

Purchased it in March. Think I might be able to get a replacement under warranty? Or not? Was going to call Moto tonight.

yes, its got a 1 yr manufactures warrenty on it

so, yo... you won't believe this. called moto, who told me to call google. before I could get a chance to call... I tried using GMM on my way home. drum roll ... ... ... ... ...

it worked for the first time in like two weeks. I don't get it, but it works again.

can't wait to experiment with windows live.

That's what I said, yeah. I don't know whats up. I know it sounds like I'm a conspiracy theorist... but, do you think maybe Moto could have adjusted anything after I got off the phone with them? As soon as I hung up it worked. I'm baffled.

All I know is GMM gps is working again. I am going to try WLS and SN later to see if those operate.

am not really sure there was something they could do over the air or not. I more than likely will say, not likely.
