Default GPS Navigation with the Q9c

Im looking a dependable program to buy which will allow me to do the same thing as Sprint's Navigation in regards to getting turn by turn voice directions on my Q9c. What product do you recommend?

you've got Garmin mobile XT, copilot, or TomTom to chose from. I believe that Garmin's smartphone offering is the cheapest of the three.

I like the one that comes on the phone. Never had a problem with it.

The one that comes on the phone doesnt give you turn by turn voice directions unless you pay $10 a month for Sprint Navigation, unless im missing something

There's also route66 & mapopolis (old/outdated). I like Garmin XT the most although I haven't tried TomTom (I think you need a mouse cursor emulator?).

What exactly do I need to get Garmin XT to run on the Q9c? Do I need to free up the space where my storage card is at? Does it slow down the phone a lot when its in use?

You need the program and a few registry edits. And yes you do need free space on your storage card. How much space depends on how many maps you load. I load the lower half of california and it takes up a bit under 200mb. As for slowing the phone down, I haven't experienced any slow downs. However, I don't really do anything resource heavy (just text/calls) while garmin is running since it's usually navigating. Also, I believe Sprint Navigation reads street names while garmin and other 3rd party apps do not.
