I would read up on modifying those 3 widcomm\plugin\av registry values.

Thanks, however, I don't have an AV thing at all there...

If you do this fix, you can't even start bluetooth anymore,..

"HKLM\Software\Widcomm\BtConfig\SerialTranspor t
and set BaudRate to 460800 from 921600"

Should I just create the AV and then do those 3 entries? i am using phm regedit, and i created a new dword called blocks, subands, etc, but do I put 00000004 or just 4, 8, 10?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WIDCOMM\Plugin\AV]
"Blocks"=dword:00000004
"SubBands"=dword:00000008
"LineSpeed"=dword:00000100

Those last 3 edits are the only things you need. Yes you have to create them manually (unless you update to wm6.1, then they exist already).

You just put in 00000004, etc.

Those values seem a bit low though, it will probably degrade the sound quality with those settings.

It changed it to 4,8,100 respectively.

If those values seem low, what do you recommend I set them to?

I have 6.1 and had no av:O

Try the values first and see how it goes.

I had tried some values on another page, and they work fine. However, although there is no skips, the system is obviously more sluggish during usage of the headphones. I was wondering if this is fixable, or not? Im just a bit confused why everything slows down when using bt headphones, as i don't have a similar problem using a bt earpiece to talk to people.

Even playing back audio in general will have some performance impacts (wmp uses something like 10mb of ram or so?). Add streaming bt on top of that and it will make a performance drop.

How much of a drop are you talking about though? Have you tried the registry hack to up the cpu to 314mhz?

I messed up and changed the default baud rate. can anyone tell me what the default should be?

im not seeing much performance impacts when playing just through the regular speaker on the phone for mp3s, etc. it just slows down the system tremendously, most noticeably when you do multitasking, when you are using bt headphones.

im scared of such things as cpu hacks, isn't that dangerous? i dont want to ruin my phone, she's my baby Does it suck up more of the battery?
