freezing issues with smart tool kit. - Motorola Q Forum

Ever since i installed smart tool kit from BIG-D's apps page my q has gotten slower and now i can't run the app without it freezing first time i hit the tasks softkey. I like the layout and options the toolkit gives but the freezing and slowdown bothers me. Any ideas on whats going on with this thing?

Which version did you install? RC08 is the way to go (not the more recent RC09). There are also some things you can do to avoid lockups. I have instructions on my apps page if you want to try them out.

Now how do i remove the version that i have on my phone now.

First, go to the task manager and kill the program. Then go to Start-->Settings-->Remove Programs to uninstall it.

only thing on the list is sprint navagation.

Try hooking up to your PC, and in Active Sync on your PC, check the Remove Programs option there. If it's not there, then you may just need to reinstall the version you had before and then uninstall it again. It should be on the Remove Programs list.
