Default deleting email

I have my juno.com email coming to my phone. I have the option in the phone selected to delete messages from the server when I delete them from the phone. This is not happening because when I down load email messages on my computer the ones I have seen and deleted from my phone are still there. what can I do?

I don't use juno email. But with my Q9c I had this same problem with my school email. My email setting is actually set to "keep on server when I delete". My email then matches what I do with my Q. So its opposite of what u think which is very screwy. give it a try and if that doesn't work maybe someone else has some advice.

Is your email account set up as POP3 account or an IMAP account?

try setting it up as IMAP (if you can) and see if it works.

Well thats what works for my school IMAP email. I have the setting set to "When deleting messages: Keep them on the server" If I delete a message under this setting it deletes it off the server. When the setting is set to "When deleting messages: delete them off the server", the messages dont get deleted from the server.

Again this is only for my school acount, I have a yahoo email acount and that works the normal way. I believe that this is happening because of a setting on the schools server. Its worth a try to mess with the settings a bunch of different ways. If that doesnt make sense let me know and I will try to clarify.

I changed the setting to "keep on server when deleting" and it did just that, kept them on the server. I changed it back to the delete option and it is still not deleting them off the server. anyother Ideas please let me know 'cause it is pretty annoying to have to delete emails 2 times.
