you dont need to be on the network to use BT
have one phone search for the other and when connected go to contacts and highlight them and use the right softkey and hit send via bluetooth

turn BT on and set both in discovery mode ) pair devices ) then use BT object send to select the stuff you want to transfer

Why not just go to a store (sprint I am guessing) with both phones and ask them to transfer the phonebooks?

My Q9C is connected to our corporate MS Exchange Server and as such my contacts are provided via my Outlook client. I wish to transfer from another old cell phone, that cell phone's contacts. I do not want to have the two contacts folders (the corporate Outlook client contact folder and the old cell phone contact folder) combined, if possible. Is there a way to create and use a second contact folder in the Q9C? BTW, I have two email accounts in use on the Q9C. The second email account is my personal email account. There are no contacts in the account.
