   | welcome aboard.. never used the alarm on the Q, but maybe you need to push the FN so the entry goes from ALT to abc and then press P or A ?

| All you have to do is press the "fn" button followed by "a" for am or "p" for pm. I struggled with this myself, as well as how to type an underscore. I cried myself to sleep for a week before I found out how to do both.  |
