Can't sync. Too many items.

I often get an error from activesync complaining that I am trying to sync too many items in my inbox. Often it says, a change has been made that requires resyncing the whole phone. I have cut my inbox down to not syncing attachments and only 2 weeks worth. I still get the problem.

My Q1 never had this issue I could sync all the attachments and as much email as I wanted. Same number of contacts (about 1200), data and pc. Anyone else getting this problem with the Q9?
