Default Camera lens uncovered

I'm already starting to get annoyed witht his phone.. but It's Windows Mobile, I knew what I was getting into.

Is there supposed to be a large hole into the phone and then the uncovered lens inside? Or is my phone missing a protective cover?

Could this be the mystery hole in which dirt gets behind the screen?

there should be a plastic "lens" sitting about 1/8 inch lower than the reflective cover. The actual lens for the camera sits slightly lower than that.

Its not suppose to be like that. I have a plastic cover over mine as well and I still get dirt behind my screen.

Don't know, I still don't have any dust in my screen (since december) although there has been dust in the light sensor (easily taken care of with some canned air)

At one point, the working name was the Q2. But the model number was changed to Q9c several months before the release.
