Camera *beep* (not *click*)

Hi All,

I applied the Camera Shutter sound hack and got rid of the shutter *click* sound. I found that setting SoundFile to "\windows\*none*" would cause the phone to freeze whereas "\windows\" worked just fine. This was discussed in an earlier thread as well. Just for kicks, I also set the ShutterSoundVolume to 0.

Now, everytime I take a picture, there's still a *beep* sound. Before the hack, it was *beep* then *click*, now it's only *beep*. Is there anyway to get rid of the *beep*?

I've searched the forum on this topic but only found the shutter click sound hack.

Could it be the "Beep" on the key press????
there should be a way i think in sound profiles to set the key sound
"Tone" "Click" "Off"

look around in your setting..........hope this helps

I looked around in the Settings and this is all I found:

Settings -> Sounds -> Keypad conrol: "None" (other choices were "Tone" and "Click")

But the camera still beeps when I take a picture. I also looked at

Settings -> Profiles -> Normal (Menu->Edit)

But there doesn't seem to be a field for key press sound...
