Bypassing Active Sync or Windows Device Center

Hey, I've been recently working with several of you all to get my phone to sync to my computer, and since all the effort all of you all have put into my phone, I'd first off like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! You all have been a huge help.

Secondly I'm curious if there is a way to bypass the sync since I've already got my email and w/e set up on my phone, so I can just copy my music files to it.

I still dont have AS or WMDC working, cause my friends new laptop with vista on it, wont allow the program to finish installing, gets to 99% and freezes there, and since my home desktop(s) wont work well with AS.

Does anyone know of such a program? I'd just like to not worry about sync, and just copy/paste my music.. or my videos. or Pictures...

I'm pretty sure I can save things to my SD card when I get my new 4g one I'm getting later and then just be able to drop and paste them from it to my computer and vice-versa, but I'm wondering if I can do this before having one of those?
