Question Bluetooth in the car and few other things

Hey,

Anyone is using Motorola Q9c with their in-dash car stereo through Bluetooth. I am using JVC KD-BT1 and for some reason each time I turn
the car on the radio tries to connect to Q9c as hands-free showing on the display 'Talking Unknown' and just sits there. The radio does not respond to any command and I have to go to the Bluetooth Manager on Q9c to disconnect it then the stereo handset works but the hands-free does not. It is weird because I also have Motorola Q9h and BlackJack and it never does that.

Is there a way to see the detail battery indicator without going to settings -> power management? Blackjack had it connected to the task manager.

Lastly, my phone speaker sometimes does a NIN 'Closer' sound. Like puf, puf. It is funny the first time but less and less later on. A lemon?

Thanks,

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your questions but I'd like to know what your opinion of the JVC KD-BT1 is? I'm going to buy a blutooth capable car stereo and need advice on which one to buy. I want to use it mainly to listen to music and audion books on my Q9c while driving. It would be nice to be able to make/recieve calls as well. any advice greatly appreciated.

do a search for a program called phoneAlarm settings it has a homescreen setup that will show battery percentage remaining and bunch of other useful info.

I remember seeing some people post about problems with linking the Q9c with their Infiniti built-in Bluetooth, but cannot confirm.

KD-BT1 is one of the cheapest cd radios with built-in Bluetooth. I got my new for low $200. As any head unit microphones, it sucks at highway speed. The technology is not there. Not too mention Q9C just does not want to pair with it. The text message display does not work with most of pda phones. I have tired Blackjack, Q9 Global and Q9C. You will have to connect to the KD-BT1 each time you enter the car. The automatic self pairing never works, but at least it does not get stuck as like on BlackJack WM6 where I had to constantly reset the bluetooth. Sound through Bluetooth is ok but I have only built-in speakers. If you have an amplifier with some decent speakers it might be another thing. Overally it is the best cost/efficient bluetooth solution out there. Is it perfect? Not even close, but the technology is not matured enough. Even with minor annoyance it does what it needs to do which is allowing me to listen to stream radio on the car speakers. Now, if you want to just listen to audiobooks/music why dont you get just $100 radio with ipod hookups.
