Default Backlight stuck on after charging

Well, I got my (Verizon) Q 9c a week ago, and mostly it's all good. It did lock up on me a couple of times, but since I started locking it when I have it in my pocket, that hasn't happened again.

One issue I do have is that when I disconnect from a charger, the backlight just stays on indefinitely. I have to reboot or at least go into Power Management to get it to behave again.

Anyone? ... Thanks, Bob

Well today it stayed on and wouldn't shut off even after a reboot. Did a master reset which got it working again, though it forced me to have to reset all my prefs and speed dials. I then spoke to Verizon tech support. They say it's not a known issue... Did a *228 reprogram and we're just gonna watch and see if it happens again.

The same thing is happening to me...i did the master resets, etc... and it still stays on...VZW is sending a new phone to me (i noticed this after initializing wireless sync...i don't know if this caused the problem though)

Mine hasn't done that again since my last post... Seems to be the "self-healing" phone. First problem: Locked up twice in the first 3 days, not since. Then the backlight issue, but that stopped. Then issues with no sound from wmp, then sound through the phone speaker even though headphones were plugged in, then it just started working right and hasn't messed up again.
