Smile Alltel Q9c & Opera Browser 8.6

My Alltel Q9c should be arriving early this week and so I've been reading up on what I have to look forward to and I saw this article on wirefly:-

http://www.wirefly.com/catalog/allte.../motorola/q9c/

Specifically this part:-
Motorola Q9c Black – Cell Phone Messaging Features

  • HTML Web Browsing - Yes, Opera Browser 8.6 Supports HTML, SSL, JavaScript, Cookies, Bookmarks, Frames and VPNs
So would I be right to think that it comes with the Opera Browser built in?

Also, does anyone with the Alltel Q9c know what the deal is with the GPS? And if it is restricted has anyone managed to hack it yet so that the GPS works with Google?

Thanks in advance as I count down the days.

I got mine and the girlfriend ones the other day (green for her and black for me). Opera does not come with it, just pie. As far as the gps, i couldn't get it to work with google maps. Which leads me to believe that its locked. I had also heard that alltel was going to be charging for it for like $10 a month but I think that is just to use whatever software they chose. But I haven't looked into that a whole lot

Thought that would be the case, just wanted to verify. Looks like it we'll have on rely on one of the GOS hacks to get it working in that case as I don't think I'd use it enough to justify $10 a month.
