I have not used it. I did monkey with the IM, but it asks me to connect to internet, but I ensured that I did not and I cancelled to connect. So, I don't see any issues there? or do I need to force cancel something? or check somewhere whether the IM did something behind my back and downloaded some stuff? hmm.. very unlikely..

Go into your profiles and turn the system sounds off via editing. This will not turn off your text message alert.

What are the repercussions to doing so?
How can we identify the rot issue? For example, investigate why this alert is happening? What are the possible problem sources? I would prefer not to force system sound off as this may have affects in other areas where I don’t want. Appreciate the continued intuitive suggestions. Keep these coming please.
