Activesync 4.5 & WMP 11 on PC

Here's a new issue: Activesync 4.5 attempting to install when I open Windows Media Player 11.

Description: HP laptop with XP installed and two user profiles. Activesync was installed in my user profile. WMP 11 opens and plays just fine in my user profile. However, when wifey logs into her user profile and starts up WMP 11 activesync pops up and indicates it's attempting to install. When install fails it prompts us to select the correct location of the start-up file. When you select cancel to stopthe installprocess it starts all over again and only by mashing cancel 20 times does activesync actually stop trying to install.

I find only two or three references on the web to this with no resolution.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled activesync and while that worked for a little while, the problemcame right back one or two days later.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?
