Syncing Contacts w/ Address Book

Hi,

I would like to back up my Q9m contacts to Address book using The Missing Sync, so that if I ever have to do a master reset on my phone, I can easily just reload my contacts back into my phone. Note that I have different contacts on my phone than I do in Address book.

My question is - is there anyway to do this backup without replacing or deleting contacts on my phone or in address book? The settings on Missing Sync make me think that this is not possible? It says if certain groups are not selected they'll be deleted from my device. I'm not sure I fully understand this but, I'm scared of syncing the two because I don't want to run the risk of deleting any contacts in address book or off of my phone.

Can anyone help please? Thank you!

not possible i think... search for pim.vol here on EQ... back it up, it contains all the contacts and calendar entries..
