 |  miniSD/ the Q/& Mac? Bluetooth works fine... The Q doesn't see the miniSD card I just bought. I hooked up the USB connection to Q & i Mac. The iMac sees the Q in the system preferences, but won't mount to the desk top like an iPod. Firewall is off. How can I format the miniSD card so that both machines see the card? I wanted to load it with some tunes. TIA george |

| cuestakid... I tried the minisd in the printer reader and the mac recognized it instantly. I dropped a mp3 on it, moved the card back to the Q. nothing. I might be looking in the wrong place. Where does the card and it's contents reside on the Q? |

| likely either in the media manager or in the file manager in my documents-but thats just a guess EDIT-well today I picked up a 2 GB Sandisk card and it worked fine out of the box-i tried to move a song to it and it synced fine Last edited by cuestakid; 05-28-2007 at 05:09 PM. |

| the card would be in the file manager, right below Program Files in the list. Also if it's not there, take it out and put it in again, sometimes it doesn't read on mine aswell and I need to take it out and put it in a couple times. |

Make sure you push the card in until it clicks. Sometimes it will seem to stay put, but isn't actually connected. If that doesn't work, you should tell us what kind of card you got and how big it is. Some 4 GB MiniSD cards don't work well with the Q and none of the SDHC cards will work. Steve

| After several attemps to load the card and hearing the click. nothing. opening file manager... here's the list of folders Appilcation data ConnMgr docprof Documents and Settings MAPI My Documents Program Files Temp Windows Express.cab etc.... The card is a minisd 2G. I used the adapter in a HP printer and my mac recognized it. Sorry folks I'm a Mac guy since '88. GUI all the way. If I can't point and clink/ drag and drop I'm lost. Is it me or the card? One of us ain't getting it. LOL! |
