    |  MacBook and Q Tethering Succesful I finally got my MacBook to tether through BlueTooth. I bought PDANet and it works amazingly! Although through BlueTooth the speed is capped due to BlueTooth speeds. Bluetooth speed on the Q is around 40kpbs. Using PDANet through USB in Vista it is super fast speeds. I have Vista Ultimate installed on a Dual Boot with OS Ten on my MacBook. Even at a low single I was getting 427kpbs download and 117kpbs upload. I am very pleased with it and happy it works. I would highly recommend PDANet as an excellent tethering choice.

| Are you going through Vista through bootcamp or parrallels. I have both on my machine, but have found that XP running through parallels runs everything fine (unless I'm doing gaming). I'm just curious if I'm going to tether my MacBook Pro up with bluetooth and PDAnet if I can use my parallels version of XP? |

| I was using BootCamp. I deleted my parition and I am probably going to use only ParallelsDesktop via XP Pro. I only have a MacBook so I don't game on it at all. And now I really don't use tethering all that much anyway.
