Default itunes on the Q

Not sure if you guys know this or not, when you use the USB cable and missin g sync. The Q becomes an available drive mount to put music in via itunes.

Steps,

Sync up,

Open Itunes

You should see it on the list of playlists etc.

Drag music (MP3 only) and then update music library on the Q.

I found the blue tooth one is not stable and drops out. USB I was able to move some music to it with no problems.

I don't think so. I think the mac mounts the Q as a drive and PC's handle external storage differently. The only way you can do it is drag file directly from your PC folders that contain the music files into the Q storage card that would get listed as possible drives when you click my computer.

This is just a guess, I haven't used a PC in years.

This can be done on a Windows PC. I download all my podcasts in iTunes, browse the Q's SD Card through ActiveSync, and then drag the podcasts directly from iTunes to the Q. This also works for the songs I have in iTunes.

taxi - I opened iTunes and sync Q. I then did a drag to Q in iTunes. It seemed to install but I could not find music file in Windows Media. I did a library update and still cound not find it. Looking in the file manager, the music file is there. How do I open the music file. Nothing in Windows Media will call it up. Thanks

I do this with my Q as well. I have an older version of TCPMP that actually plays protected AAC files so I don't have to covert to MP3.

Pretty slick.

I tried this, but all my Itunes are mp4 and itunes will not let me convert to mp3.
