iCal always crashes

After I synced my Q to my Mac, when I tried to open up iCal to see just what it did I had a reoccuring problem. The window for an iCal alarm would pop up, but the window would be blank, just the white background with the bar (and three dots) running across the top. The window would do nothing for a bit (but taunt me) then the entire application would quit!!

I checked the apple.com discussion forums, and there were a lot of complaints with iCal shutting down but none similar to mine (I posted in there and am still waiting on a response). Since the only thing I've done since this started happening was sync my Q, I thought this might be a problem.

So I come to you guys - help?
