Basic Help Understanding Q to Mac

I would like to buy a Motorola Q phone from my provider Verizon. My internet provider is Comcast. They told me it is not compatible with the Macintosh.

Ok... Compatible to download address books, calendars etc?

Can I still buy the phone and enter my contact information by hand?

Could it still access my email account through Comcast?

I am not sure what is not compatible? How does the Does the phone access my email?

if you look through the Mac and Q forum you will see that you can use it with a Mac

email on the Q really doesnt requre windows....

if you can set your comcast email as a POP account then you can use it on the Q.....search and ye shall find

I really do not need to download all my calendars and such from my computer I just need to tap into my email account and I am not sure if that is possible.

it can be done
they probably didnt know about 'missing sync' for macs to sync the Q
but you can get email on the device just fine
