Mac and am new to it. My pc laptop is on the fritz so am am using my son's mac

did you see the screen-grab/shot i linked to ? when you are in the list of message inside a certain forum there is a "post new topic" button..

Thanks, just have to go to "home", then it changes from "post reply" to "post new topic" thx for you patience.
