 |  Good Morning from South Florida Good morning all, I purchased my Q a couple of days ago from Alltel. I was going to wait until the updated one was released but I figured why not go ahead and get it. Alltel could not give me a release date. I have been looking around for time in here. There is alot of really good information posted here, far more then the Alltel rep could give me. Like the face there is no MMS support from Alltel at this time. (They said sure it has picture messaging) Ok I am past that now, since I dont really send all that many pictures. I am hopefull that a fix/patch for the network will be out soon. I have always preferred Moto's to most other phone. (Except Moto's repair service centers) I am looking forward to messing around and see what the Q can do. I have down loaded some apps and two come to mind that crashed. I was hoping for some insight on these.1. Travel Talk by iambic downloaded fine and then DEVICE NOT SUPPORTED2. Octrotalk again download and installed fine, Ran it deleted one message then it crashed.Looking forward to meeting some new people and exchanging information.  | Welcome to EQ My suggestion to you before you install any programs are to make sure that they are compatible with the Moto Q. Look around and do searches before making any major moves. Still telling lies, are they? That's my number 1 rant against Crap-tel. Anything for money. Don't be afraid of the search button.

| I did the research on the Q. Just not the carrier. My other choice was AT&T because I travel to southern Missouri a few times a year. ALLTEL and AT&T have good coverage there, the others are hit and miss at best. Thanks for the advice. |
