Default Telus Motoq Wm6.1 Upgrade

when are we expecting to see telus provide the Windows mobile 6.1 upgrades for out moto q 9c phones?

i dont believe telus was listed as a carrier to update the device

nothing's been announced about upgrades to any phones other than the Sprint Q9c and the AT&t Q9h

Does telus usually do updates such as these for there data phones?

im new with data phone with telus, i dont know the whole procedure

dunno, this kind of upgrade doesn't happen all that often. There were only one or 2 phones that were able to upgrade from WM5 to 6 (none of them motorola). It's dependant on the carrier. If enough users ask for it they might, but that kind of process takes a while usually.

Telus did the ROM update on the original Q. Hopefully they'll come around on the Q9c as well.

i think you maybe talking about a firmware upgrade and not a full ROM upgrade like wm5 to wm6

I would love if Telus released a WM6.1 upgrade.
I was considering giving customer service a call just to see if they have plans on doing it yet.
Would it be possible to just download the update (from AT&T) to PC and install it using activesync anyways?
