Yahoo SMS alert

so instead of dealing with Wireless Sync which 1) is too slow forwarding emails 2) uses to much battery i switched to Yahoo SMS alert, so if certain people emails me i get an alert via SMS, seems to be faster then WS and the guy before me here got Yahoo for company mail and web site so it's there.

anyway.. as we all know the character limit of SMS is 160 characters, so it -Yahoo- cuts of the message and does not send a second, third or however many SMS'es.

lastly, this is not the best solution so i am still open for alternatives to accomplish what i want.
