USB and Windows Media Player

I went for a walk this morning and I really needed my phone. (I usually carry my iPod.) I copied a batch of music on to my Q to listen to. That way, I would have my phone and music to. However, I plugged in the headset that comes with VZW media software in to the USB connector on the Q. The music was beautiful coming from....the back of the Q and not the headset. I could not find a way to get the Q to play out the USB. What up wit dat?

Have you noticed that the Q had a little bitty ear phone jack? It fit's nothing I have.

I do not believe the USB port will work for headphones o the Q. The small jack is actually a mobile phone size jack, instead of what comes on non-phone PDA's. You can get some good stereo headsets designed for that size jack or you can get an adapter at Radio Shack or from a search for retailers on the net, that will allow you to use standard size plug headsets.

Some people have opted to use stereo bluetooth headsets.

Thanks Rob. I'm too cheap to buy the bluetooth sets. I've got a bluetooth mic but rarely use it. I just didn't know if this was the way of it or just me.
