dont keep the old battery since its damaged. it could damage ur new Q.
dont throw in garbage.

yes they are. the only difference is the extended batteries need different doors.

See I have no idea if they are interchangeable or not. I only have had Q1's.

could have been worse, you could have run it over too...
I 'm sure there is someone out there who but the extended battery but not the door and wondered why the old door wouldn't fit.
A few months ago a customer of mine actually asked me what that shiny round thing that came with her pictures was (we give free picture CDs with every roll that we develop)...

My brother had a phone...dont remember what kind it was...he ran over it, the first time it survived and worked the 2nd time it did not survive lol

That is funny shinny round thing. If it were my mom she would put them face to face and have the playing side as a reflector so birds dont fly into her windows at her house lol.
