Sprint's coverage is good in MN, WI, and IL which is really all I truly need. AT&T was good to me while I was with them, until they gave me the boot (even then I did not want to leave them) the only thing is spotty coverage in rural areas and inside deep basements. Verizon is great coverage (the best so far), but they are just so damn expensive to stay with. Anyone out there made the jump to Sprint from VZW (or AT&T)? What are some opinions (keeping in mind that this is mostly for MN and IL). How does data speed compare, value for the price (I know the SERO plan is cheaper but if I have to spend hours with CS everyday on the phone it may not be worth it). |
I switched from VZW to Sprint for the SERO plan. SERO on SPrint is so much cheaper than what I was paying VZW. I'm gonna save over a couple thousand over the course of my contract. As for coverage, here in Atlanta, VZW's and Sprint's coverage is pretty even for both phone calls and high speed data, so no big deal there. Yes, Sprint's customer service is nowhere near the class of Verizon, but I've actually been very lucky to have gotten my SERO plan set up with no hiccups whatsoever. The few times I have dealt with CS have been painless, and they did what was needed. I won't need to deal with CS very much at all now, so it's worked out well for me.
