Default Simple Man has Simple Questions needs Simple Answers

I currently own the first version of the Moto Q from Verizon Wireless. I picked it up the day it came out over 2 years ago. It's been a love hate relationship ever since. My new every two is now in play and my contract with Verizon expires at the end of the month. I'm now stuck with having to decide to stay or leave VZW. Here's where I need help.
  1. Has anyone experienced both Verizon and AT&T service/coverage? If so, how do they compare?
  2. If I go with the Moto Q9h Global from AT&T will I be able to use Google Earth? I've heard and read yes, no, and a bunch of tech stuff I don't understand. I just want to be able to use google earth gps app without having to subscribe to AT&T's nav service.
  3. If I do stick with Verizon or go with AT&T I have the option of the Blackberry Curve and at AT&T I also have the option of the BlackJackII and the Tilt. Any feedback on those.
As you can see I need help. I want to make the best decision, but feel I don't have enough info to do so. I keep hearing different things from the people at AT&T and Verizon and I just need honest and simple answers. Hope you can help.

1.My experience with 2 is vzw has better coverage. I think it depends on where you live tho. I know people in other areas swear by other carriers.
I happen to live in the San Francisco Bay Area and it is rare that I ever have a dropped call with vzw. ATT was a daily ritual around certain bends in the road. I can get signal in areas people with ATT cant. Infact some physicians have left ATT because in the hospital limited signal with ATT but full signal with vzw. I can get signal in my home where ATT cant another reason peole I know left ATT was no signal at home.

2 and 3 I am sure some other folks will chime in. Cant really help at all there.

1- never had either Verizon or ATT so no comment there
2- you want Google Maps Mobile and yes it will work, although I've heard that on the Q9h it does take some time to acquire a location fix (much faster on the Q9c for sprint)
3- I haven't seen the curve outside of commercials and the Blackjack II seems to small for my tastes (big hands) and the only guy I know who has one of those isn't smart enough to be able to take full advantage of it (Corey, smartphones don't make YOU smart)

1. From my experience (only in the St. Louis area) they're about the same; never had a problem with reception in most areas

2. Don't know about GoogleEarth (and am not quite sure Google Earth even exists for a mobile device), but Google Maps works just fine on the q.

3. From what I understand, the Blackjack and the Tilt both have Windows mobile on it, where the Blackberry has their own proprietary OS. I've used the blackberry extensively before, and have some basic experience with the Windows-based units. You'll be able to do much more with a windows-based phone (ie: registry edits, hacks) than you will with the blackberry. It largely boils down to personal preference & ergonimics customization for me. I suggest taking a look at the various video reviews out there on teh intarwebs for starters.
