Its refreshing to see that everyone (from the members to admin) are a bit more lenient when it comes to conversation going off topic. Yes it clutters up the post (making it hard for the people looking for an answer). But the admins are very calm and level headed if it does goes off hand.

Not like some ubb's i lurk who gets all knotted up when a newbie ask the same questions. I usually tell them the answers and suggest to them to search for the q's next time (in a calm method of course. Most of the time).

Sometimes, i find the people who have a lower post count is a lot more knowledgeable than the people who have a gazillion post count. Which most of that are from posting, "use the fking search button!".

Great suggestion Dr. Q. Although the small talk is what gets me through my work day sometimes (even if I don't participate, I will follow along!!) I will do my part to keep it in the off topic section.

i try...but sometimes something I read sends me ot..ive tried to ignore things lately and just not say anything. But then who ever starts it gets ignored...that isnt polite either.

Just so you know, I read almost all the "chit-chat" everyday. Even though I don't post much, I do enjoy reading everything, whether on or off topic.
