Q sighting(s)

o yea, that's true... so let me ask you this 1) does she check up on you here b) how did you rope her in (did i say that out loud) and lastly (for now) which home screen does she use and what are her favorite apps.

1. no she doesnt. believe it or not she uses it as a PHONE! who would have thought that possible

2. rope her in to the Q?
i wanted the phone and it was her time to upgrade..so she let me have her upgrade. then she saw how cool it was and was jealous so i bought her one (acutally it used to be vtrdropout's phone!)
if your asking how i got her to be my wife the answer is booze

3. i made her a harry potter homescreen with a missed call screen that has hedwig (harry's owl) carrying a letter and on it it says missed calls: #. also made her a harry potter ring theme (ring tone and text tone both of the original score of the movie)
she doesnt really use any programs other than google maps which i made her install so she can be my navigator when we go on trips....
she very basic with the phone no bells or whistles

Not really a sighting but I was troubleshooting the company President's blackberry and showed him my Q, He loved it so much that the new company standard is the Q and not the BB.

Now I have to get 100 Q's and replace all of the BB's in the company.

I have a feeling that I will need to hold a couple of classes on how to use your Q.

Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut.

wow, who uses the Q as a phone.. well besides your wife :} rope her in as your wife i meant my SO first wanted the Razr when i had it (when she had my old Moto V60), and now she sometimes says she wants a Q but i think it's too much phone for her, if she would really want one she would get one trust me :}
nice of you to her the screens and sounds.. i do the same for my SO, well send her ring tones and make sure the pictures she uses as background look good..

maybe tomorrow i want to know more... you'll be here ? :}

i have tried to show her new toys for the Q and shes just like nope i dont want it
oh well...shes happy...she can text me ALL day (which she does) and check her emails when she wants....
for someone with ill say not a spectacular tech background she has been amazing with the phone...i was worried at first but she has had no issues (knock on wood)
only problem would be that she forgets it or forgets to charge it...

ummmm let me think...hmmmm will i be here tomorrow...hmmm.....

Thanks, My only saving grace is that I can roll them out slowly over time. usually when he makes up his mind like this he wants it done right now.

My boss, Tom and his son, who also works at the company both have the Silver Verizon--mine's Sprint Gray. When Tom first saw my Q a few weeks ago he asked me what it was--proudly told him it was my Q. He said slowly "That's an expensive phone" and I answered yes, it was. No need to tell him I snagged it new for $99!

Since the son (half my age!) is now signing my paycheck I decided to DL a copy of our own QNotes onto his device--yes, that is as blatent an attempt to suckup as I will ever attempt. Shameless! you say...
but that QNotes is exactly the app I needed, after trying several others (but this is not a commercial) and I hope he likes it as much...that, and he will then have the EQ address, too.

So that's two for me--three if you count the Sprint Tech at the Gateway store here in Austin. But who's counting :nyuk-nyuk-nyuk:
