Media Player "All Music" List - Motorola Q Forum

When I list "All Music" on my storage card, not all of my music shows up on the list. The songs that don't show up in the list are on the phone because I can see them and play them using the file manager. Can anyone help?

Is all the music you want to play in the same folder? I beleive it should be toward the top in the folder that is labeled "music".

In Media Player, I choose MENU then LIBRARY then MY MUSIC then ALL MUSIC. It shows the list of songs but they all don't show up. This is all for the storage card. The songs are in different album folders.

Are the songs all MP3 or are they different file types? Are any of them protected?

I think everything gets converted to .wmv format don't they. How do I know if they are protected? The songs in questions are all from 1 album. They are the only ones that don't show up in the list.

Sorry, but they are from cd's I ripped and then transfered to the phone. I don't know what format they are.

I generally don't use WMP to sync music. I add all the songs manually so all of mine are still MP3. Go through the file manager and check the properties of one of the songs that won't show up. what do you see?

I don't use WMP to sync either. I do it manually. I checked one of the songs, and they are all .wma extensions.
