Mario Kart Wii

Anyone here play the new Mario Kart Wii yet. imo its the funnest game on the wii to date(Im not a big smash bros. or mario galaxy fan). The included wheel is cool but not the best controls. ill be going onlin friday with it, 12 people I cant wait!!!!

My daughter loves super mario galaxy.
We are going to purchase mario kart this week.
Wheel looks interesting...have to see how it actually feels though.

My family really enjoys the wii.

LOL I would love to see the screen shots from 12 people playing at once. That will be a full track! lol

I have both a Wii and a Xbox 360 and so I have to prioritize what games I buy and this month it's going to be GTA IV.

well being that i dont have an xbox or xbox 360 and my 6 yo is the only one that wants one(he calls it xraybox lol) and neither is really geared for younger kids mario kart it is!

Did the wii version keep the catch up AI? That drove me NUTS in double dash...

Couldn't agree more and it's good to hear that you take an interest in what your son plays. When I hear of children playing games that are rated above their age it really annoys me.

I kind of varied what I would allow based on each child and mine are far enough apart it is "fair" since the 24 yo lives on his own, the 16 yo knows right from wrong and is the most compliant kid I know (seriously it shocks me too lol) 6 yo has autism so I am way more careful than I was with the other two. Just because he is so easily influenced by what he sees and repeats alot of what he hears. I remember the first time he said awww s*it. I knew who to talk to about that. I mean when your kid hardly talks, you dont want to discourage because it take sooo much to get what you can out. Just gotta be a bit more careful what you say or do for that matter.

my son uses my old xbox but with only certain games. on the wii he likes star wars (lego version) because nobody really dies...

Yeah I noticed when Vincent found the xbox live site that there were some games more geared for kids. Just not enough for me to say OK lets get an XBOX 360 because nobody else has an interest in the other games.
