I have had my Q for little over a year. No, it's about a year. During that time, I have been asked, "Do you think you really THAT important to have such a fancy phone?", "Does toilet paper come with that?", "Why do you need all of that?", or, my all time favorite, "Is that a Blackberry?" Also, in that year, I have reverted back to my RAZR and just recently paid full price for a RAZR2. And, yet and I gone back to my Q.
Has anyone done similar? If so, why do we keep coming back?

I also went from my Q to a RAZR2 and back to the Q after 3 weeks (I didn't pay for the RAZR). We keep coming back cause it's a great phone, not perfect but with a little work you can get pretty close.
I wanted to use the RAZR2 because it was a Linus based phone. Duh! I use VZW. They took out the Linux for the same ole VZW shit! It would be great for the Q to move to Linux.

There is no way I could go back to a regular phone. I couldn't having to use a regular phone keypad to text & email. I used my wife's Razor a few weeks ago to text someone. It was ridiculus.
I also love never being away from the internet & my email.
Every time I watch a movie or download & view an email attachment, I remember my first Motorola cell phone back in the 90's. All you could do is dial a number. And if you wanted to save it, you had to assign it to a number between 1 & 10, no names, no notes, no email addresses. And it was huge.
I think I keep going back to my Q is that I can customize it so many different ways versus a regular phone. Another reason is that I write Star Trek fanfic and I can use my Q to write stories no matter where I am. It is near impossible to do that with a regular phone.
