I was able to download the realplayer, but under the devices, it won't let me add a device (the Q). It has my daughters ipod listed. I disabled it, and tried adding a device. There is no way for me to add the Q. I went to the real player site, and this is what I found:
My
device does not appear in RealPlayer. Why not?

Answer When your
device is supported by RealPlayer and set up correctly, it should appear on the RealPlayer Burn/Transfer tab, in the Current Burner/
Device drop-down list.
If your
device does not show here, make sure the
device is set up correctly.
To set up your
device to be seen in RealPlayer:
1. Follow the
device manufacturer's instructions for
installing your
device in Windows.
2. Make sure the
device is powered on and connected to the USB port on your computer.
3. Download and install Microsoft Windows Media Player version 9:
-
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/player.aspx.
4. Download and install the RealPlayer
device plugin (you will need to be connected to the Internet):
- In RealPlayer, click the
Burn/Transfer tab.
- Click
Add A New Device in the sidebar on the left.
- Select the link for your
device in the left pane.
- Choose
Install Device in the right pane.
I then tried d/lding the windows media 9 series, but since I have Windows XP on the computer, I can't. I already have "newer software installed".
I was able to go to the AOL site and pull up song ( I started with one: Queens "Fat Bottomed Girls"). It downloaded beautifully into the Realplayer, and pulls up in the list of "Downloaded Songs". I can play it in the realplayer, but HOW DO I GET THE SONG ON MY PHONE???
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
I know this thread is old, but this is the first chance I had to get any PC time!!
