Do you mean that you are only able to play the videos thru the web, like an .ivr?... It should be D/L'ing as a .flv file.

And your update of SUPER© is what's going slow?.. or the updated version is extremely slow?

Hmmmm...
Where is that metafile located, in the Real Folder in Program Files? And what exactly are those metafile extensions?

I forget if you 'have to' change the destination folder on the Download window, under the Options tab.... to get it to download as an MP3.

System Tools or Repair How do I install the Q to the real player???

I was able to download the realplayer, but under the devices, it won't let me add a device (the Q). It has my daughters ipod listed. I disabled it, and tried adding a device. There is no way for me to add the Q. I went to the real player site, and this is what I found:

My device does not appear in RealPlayer. Why not? Answer When your device is supported by RealPlayer and set up correctly, it should appear on the RealPlayer Burn/Transfer tab, in the Current Burner/Device drop-down list.

If your device does not show here, make sure the device is set up correctly.

To set up your device to be seen in RealPlayer:

1. Follow the device manufacturer's instructions for installing your device in Windows.
2. Make sure the device is powered on and connected to the USB port on your computer.
3. Download and install Microsoft Windows Media Player version 9:

4. Download and install the RealPlayer device plugin (you will need to be connected to the Internet):
- In RealPlayer, click the Burn/Transfer tab.
- Click Add A New Device in the sidebar on the left.
- Select the link for your device in the left pane.
- Choose Install Device in the right pane.

I then tried d/lding the windows media 9 series, but since I have Windows XP on the computer, I can't. I already have "newer software installed".

I was able to go to the AOL site and pull up song ( I started with one: Queens "Fat Bottomed Girls"). It downloaded beautifully into the Realplayer, and pulls up in the list of "Downloaded Songs". I can play it in the realplayer, but HOW DO I GET THE SONG ON MY PHONE???

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

I know this thread is old, but this is the first chance I had to get any PC time!!

Sherri, I transfer the MP3s that I download with RealPlayer to my MiniSD card, I don't try to sync my Q to RealPlayer. I have the RealPlayer downloads set to go to a designated folder on my harddrive, then I stick my MiniSD card into my PC's card reader and copy & paste the MP3s over to that storage card, put it back into my Q, and whalla... all the music that I'd like, for free.

Sometimes I just download the videos, in .flv format, keep that on my PC, extract the audio as an MP3 using Super, then only transfer the MP3 to my Q.

Hope I made sense and this helped in some way...

Music or Audio Is it really this easy???

"I transfer the MP3s that I download with RealPlayer to my MiniSD card"

MBK2, I got your message when I woke this morning (on my faithful Q, of course...). Came down to the PC (I have a day off) and put in the card. HOLY GUACAMOLE! It works! I now have a whole folder of Queen songs! I can't believe I sat here for hours trying how to download the songs using the usb cable...this seems almost too easy. Some songs were not available on the AOL site (Dead or Alive, anyone???). I have their songs, but all on vinyl! Oh, well!

Thanks again for replying so fast, and for the great suggestions!

Rating or review Dead or Alive???

Hey! That didn't pull up for me when I searched! (I swear I did!!!) I got some of the songs, but when I searched to dl them, it was by different groups!!Anyway, THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Edit: Actually, only one of the songs came up (You spin me round...). The rest link to other artists (Grateful Dead...)I would love to get more Dead or Alive songs, so if you see how, let me know! If not, I'll resort to purchasing a CD in Walmart or Target and go from there...
