how do i use the halo 3 ringtones from the windows mobile site? - Motorola Q Forum

i downloaded the free halo 3 ringtones off the microsoft windows mobile site. they're on my windows media player on my phone, but how do i set them to where i can choose them as a ringtone?

put them in the \application data\sounds folder on the Q
the either edit the profile or contact and select the sound

Would that be a Lost avatar?

Also you can put them in the root of a storage card..

yes it's a lost avatar.

i'm using total commander and i've renamed the path to move and i get a "confirm cannot access file!" message.

how do i put them in the root of the storage card? would i be able to download the ringtones straight off the site to the exact folder on my phone?

yup..do accept and download and then menu "save as", choose storage card.

January 1st...season starter I hear.

actually, i didn't include the file type when i tried moving the first time and now i did and it worked, thanks n99!

and yes, january 31st is the season 4 premier, looks crazy!
