   |  EQ Free Downloads Section As many of you know, the site features a section with free software downloads. I'm thinking of redoing the categorization of the section. I also would like to encourage more of you to upload your useful "free" files for other members. In order to accomplish this, I think it's important to have a good idea of what files will be uploaded and the categorization of those files. I'm soliciting your opinions on what you'd like to see here on the downloads section. Thanks in advance. -Chris

 |  How about this for starters:- Multimedia - Video, music applications such TCPMP. Games - Self explanatory really, pacman, Pocket Nester. Homescreen Applications - Items that add functioanlity to the HS, e.g. orange.dll OK I've run out of ideas already as all the other apps I have are paid for applications! Craig |

| dont really know how to upload without having my own webpage (thats a whole new monster i havent discovered)...but what about Google Maps, Orange dll, Resco, Total Commander, 6.1 update etc.

| Tony has a great thread started of free/not free software with links to them. And there's a game thread too with links I believe. If you need a volunteer to track down, double check and place files somewhere...I know the perfect guy!

| Looking for volunteers to boost up the new downloads section. There are some tricky issues with the section now, whereby I need to tweak some things in order to have uploading capability turned on. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll activate uploads. Free software only. No shareware or anything illegal. Home screens and wallpapers are also welcome. Uploading is very easy. I'll go into more detail once we're ready to turn it on. I think a nice repository of software here at EQ will be nice! Volunteers? Anyone? -Chris

| I'd like avoid anything "questionable", I'd say leave out 6.1 stuff. I'm primarily interested in bulking up legit freeware. Home screens, games, etc.

| What about upload Monday's? I'll enable access to registered members to upload the best freeware they have found for the Moto Q. No shareware, Microsoft apps or things that could cause potential legal issues for the site. Just good ole freeware. I know PacMac has always been a favorite of mine. That's the type of stuff I'd love to see. I'll provide complete directions by Monday morning, since there are a few areas of the upload form that do not need to be filled out. There you have it... Upload Monday's has been born. -Chris
