i am actually very satisfied with my current Q1 and nothing really comes to mind.. in time i wouldn't mind upgrading to the Q9... if there is so much you don't like about the Q perhaps you should get different device :}

I had to reread the posts as I didn't hear anyone saying they hated the device just stuff they'd like to see on future phones.

I like you was satisfied with my Q until I found a way to wrangle a Q9C out of Sprint and now all I can say is wow.

I like the dual slot idea as I have extra 2gb cards but have to copy all my program folders to these other cards to use them and still have a full regimen of programs.

Of course faster and more RAM never hurts and computer especially as the programs get more complex.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Q9M. It's perfect. It will be hard to replace. But, as the saying goes you can never be too rich (or too thin, but I disagree with this part) and your favorite gadget can never be too tricked out.

Think of this thread as the "Pimp my Ride" for smartphones.

B. An alternative to Documents to Go! Technology does change but when you have a software product you must be able to stand behind the product. No one wants to hear excuses when they have problems or worse That the developers have updated the software and can no longer problem solve your issue because they no longer stand behind the older version

Interesting point. I see myself staying with my Q9M/C for a while (there are no other Windows Mobile 6 Standard devices that allow you to charge your phone and use wired headphones at the same time without an adaptor; which is really important for me because drain my battery by using data and media a lot). So, how the software and hardware will hold up and whether I will be able to get support is a key consideration.

I would like to see built-in threaded SMS. The third party software for threaded sms doesn't work seamlessly with the Q9c. Also would like to have picture messaging but that is a sprint issue not the Q. Plus what you guys have all mentioned would be nice.

But, here's what it would take to woo me away:

* Better browser of course (the Q9h includes Opera; nice).

So, that's my list. What's yours and why do you think the features I have mentioned are missing from current phones.

I've got the Q global, but your list is my list--jack, wifi, card slots.
