I'm real surprised by this. A good friend of mine spent about 30 minutes with the Chocolate and said it's the absolute worst interface he's ever seen. He was real excited about it, until he had some time to play with it. Now, I see they have 4 colors. I would think VZW would be hesitant to carry the phone in colors for risk of getting stuck with inventory. Unless, all the ads etc are selling Chocolates and customers don't realize the phone is "less than perfect".

yes i haved used someones chocolate for a bit and thought the UI was hokey at best... Maybe they can market the 'not so technical' phone users out there...

My daughter bought one... she loves it (go figure) I played with it for a few minutes and was very frustrated with the interface... However, I do know the screen can be somewhat customized but...

Any hard date for the Sprint Q yet? Mid-January is the closest I've been able to come up with.

I've heard January 14th from Sprintusers for online/tele-sales. In stores February 18th.

My sister has the chocolate and hates it. The buttons are so sensitive you can't get it to do anything without going through 23 things you didn't WANT it to do in the first place. I played with one in the Verizon store and hated it. It's kitschy and gimmicky. I love my Moto Q. It's exactly the kind of phone I needed and wanted, even if it isn't shiny red.

I just got my Sprint Q. Its got a really nice textured feel to it. I gotta get it working the way I want it to first.
