As a lefty, I have used my right hand to operate the Q since day one. Maybe it is because I have always kept my cell phones in my right pocket, so I have always used my right hand to operate them. Besides, us lefty's have been adapting to this right-handed world for a long time. It is second nature.
I'm right handed and I've always kept my phone in my left pocket. is this a trend? Do righties use the left pocket for phones and visa versa?
Also a lefty, but never use the scroll wheel. Hey, lefties are so used to adapting to the righty mob that we can handle anything (except writing clearly).

bringing this back from the dead...im lefty as well and it only feels natural with the phone in my right hand, its kinda like the computer mouse for me, i use my right hand, kinda just adapted..the scroll wheel is not too bad, just use the thumb, well it is called a thumb wheel isnt it? But when you think about it, the q9m is lefty as the message button and the camera (i think) button is on the opposite sides...

I think most lefties are pretty good at adapting. I've done it for so long, it's actually more comfortable for me to use a phone or a mouse with my right hand. My only complaint about the right-handedness of the Q is that I wish it had an additional shift key on the left side of the keyboard.
I'm lefty and only use the scroll bar to adjust the volume, which I rarely do. The design of the Q is perfect for me. Everything I use is on the front anyway, except for the connection port for syncing.
after my stroke im a converted lefty.... i wished i had more uses for the scroll wheel other than volume, but i really don't. the d-pad works wonders for me!
