First things first. That's just beautiful. Second i'll never be able to afford the data plan if they actually keep comming up with "updated" Q's.

my 1st question: is this for sure comming out?
2nd: how long b4 verizon gets it.
3rd: if verizon does actually come out with this at then end of next year. how many other different Q's will there be between now and then?(so far i've seen 3 dif q's and yet only one has actually been released(the original).

It's a shame... I like the thumb wheel...

By the time I upgrade 1 year plus from now... there will no doubt be another new "Q" or a Q Pro plus...

The thumbwheel for me is useless (unused).

I wish that the Q thumbwheel had the usability of the one on my old Blackberry. It just feels like it was a design afterthought.

FWIW- I use the thumbpad and like it a lot.

there's my $0.02

The only use I have for the thumbwheel is silencing the phone when it starts ringing.. otherwise it's useless..

I hear that. It's just doesn't feel all that ergonomic or intuitive. an after thought is right... like like moto product engineers were like "oh shit, we need a nav wheel or some shit"

though i've made an attempt tp use it more.

I like this thing. Any word on the specs. I hope it doesn't go GSM first. That'd suck.

Speaking of sucking, how about that Black Jack, could Samsung try to steal some Moto thunder anymore, geeeez? Samsung's aren't bad phones at all. They've had and still do have some winner in their line-up.

They've released some industry leading technology, some cutting edge crap. But stop knocking off every popular Moto product to hit the market.

I haven't used the Black Jack yet but it seems to cater to non-business users. They advertise it as a media player/video camera, which I think is kind of a waste.

Sometimes I tell you....I remember when Verizon had the V710, then the E815....I was screwed! I did pay full retail though for that E815. THe Q pro does look slick, and adding that 2 Megapixel camera would make the Q more media friendly. the buttons look alot more friendly too..
