No Keypad Backlight On Sprint Moto Q

If you hold it down then you can turn off and on the screen as you please ..


But when you get the SPRINT MOTO Q just put in the battery and please the End Call red button underneath the right softkey and it shall turn on your Moto Q =]

Okay, I know how to turn off the the screen however, how do you turn on the kaypad light. I have a sprint Moto Q phone and I know it was working when I first got it. Now for some reason it has stopped working. What do I do to get it working again. Can anyone please help me and give me a step by step process. Thank you
